Saying goodbye is never easy
You prepare to harden the heart
Hoping for the pain to cut less
Inspite of all the work done
It's stings a little, It's stings allot
This wave of sadness
Comes and goes with the tides
Unexpectedly crashing down
At the smallest of memories
Leaving the room feeling empty
With a heart ache so grand

How human I am afterall
