Thankful

I look up to the skies 
Dazed in wonder
I am thankful 
We have day and night 

I look around at the world
I feel the wind blowing 
I am thankful 
We have air to breathe 

I longingly stare at my sons 
Overwhelmed at times 
I am thankful 
We have many blessings 

I look within myself 
Gazing at the mirror 
I am thankful 
We have an amazing life
