The Knight

The mind is busy 
The heart is wounded
Needing some reflection 
Trying to find a way 
A small fraction of hope 
To lift a heavy burden soul 

It's right here in our hearts
The answer we needed
Thank you Jesus 
For the blood you shed 
To give us life 

Each one of us searching deep 
To find something sacred 
We can hold tightly onto 
In the darkest of days 
A truth that is not blinded 
To be set free from chains 

It's right here in our hearts 
The answer we needed
Thank you Saviour 
For the crown upon your head 
To be our King 

Remember him always 
The past holds the history 
But tomorrow is the future 
Grace has no limitations
He is coming with love 
The knight in shining glory
