Forgiveness

I've been pressing
On this subject matter
For some time now
I hear and see things
But none true to myself
I tend to use as armour

Forgiveness is such a strong word

Forgiveness can take a life time
To lift that burden

You taught me how to love
But in doing so
Mastered the art of hate
How I wish it wasn't
I dont want to carry anger
I'd rather bury these memories
