Questions

I can be near to you
And far from you
Doesn't mean I don't believe
Sometimes I need reassurance
What the world throws out
Hurts too deeply

I've got questions
Some doubt maybe
At the back of my heart
I'll put the blame on
The human race

If we are all honest to the core
Faith is won over time
And lost on the way
Struggles we may face
Not always understanding
The greatest plan set for us

I've got questions
Some doubt maybe
At the back of my mind
I'll put the blame on
The human race

I feel Your heavenly presence
How we're so quick to judge
You are love and mercy
A breath of fresh air
Sin weaken our souls
You never leave us waiting

I've got questions
Some doubt maybe
At the back of my being
I'll blame that on
The human race

Father God I'm here
Calling your almighty name
With a wounded heart
I know you'll fix in time
Impatience may get me down
I know Your best gift
Is yet to come
