Letting go

Not every moment
Is kisses and rainbows
Some are a little cloudy
If not dark as night
But the sun will soon shine

Letting go eases the burden
Letting go lifts the weights
Letting go soothes the ache
Letting go opens up the heart

I too can sulk
For all the wrong reasons
I hate to be wrong
And I love to be right
Eagerness at its best

Letting go washes away fear
Letting go closes the wounds
Letting go breaks the binds
Letting go heals the soul

When worry sets in
Your attitude adjusts
All around seems so lost
But that won't last long
Better days are around the corner

From the heart
Char
