My God

I sometimes feel alone
In my thoughts
About heaven and hell

Perhaps too many questions
I feel might have
Double sided answer for 

I'm awaiting the sign
For end times are near
Serious duration to be given

I have lost my faith
More than a handful of counts
I know I can turn the tides 

With a choice each time 
I come back to you
My God , my one and only

It's just a short summary
How well our relationship
Is progressing to the next level 

At times I am quiet
Looking within my own turmoil
So I take a few steps back 

But in due course
I'll come running forward

Hands wide open to receive 

Dear God
Through all our roller coaster emotions I ask that you have patience in each one of us as we find ourselves, our faith and our hearts back to you!
