When things go wrong

It never just rains
But pours down showers
Superstition runs in our minds
The number three
So eloquently in sequence

When things go wrong
It's an occurrence
An event of note

I don't see today
That elusive pot of gold
At the end
Of a rainbow so colourful
When the clouds have disappeared

When things go wrong
It's an occurrence
An event of note

This untimely bad luck
Can set itself
On a wreckless path
And bowl you over
Or knock you for a six

When things go wrong
It's an occurrence
An event of note

So it would do you well
To remind yourself
From time to time
To let things go
And be what may just for now

From the heart
Char
