My heart

My heart reaches for you
If only things could be different
By human ways and errors
We are truly never satisfied

My heart aches for you
If only things could be changed
By human logic and assumption
We are gluttons for punishment

My  heart yearns for you
If only things could be easier
By human nature and existence
We are forever lonely

My heart tugs for you
If only things could be softer
By human consumption and greed
We are easily tempted

My heart pleads for you
If only things could be gentler
By human waste and devistation
We are too once forgotten
