Dark places

Life has a way
Of taking up
All the small things
Of matter and sentiment

I'm in a dark place
I don't know
When I'll see the light again

My every move
Is carefully watched
With a scornful eye
I hold my head low

I'm in a dark place
I don't know
When I'll see the light again

I didn't know
It could be
So tough on us
To make this call

I'm in dark place
I don't know
When I'll see the light again

Wishes don't make sense
I'm all bitter inside
Splitting headache
To which I cannot ignore

I'm in a dark place
I don't know
When I'll se the light again

Regrets now astound me
And I cannot change it
Anger is now my best friend
To the end

I'm in a dark place
I don't know
When I'll see the light again

From the heart
Char
