How I yearn for warmer days
The smell of freshly cut grass
Flowers blossoming all around
Array of beautiful colors
To please my heart
Summer is not far away
It's the season for laughter
Children giggling outside
Dragon fly makes his appearance
And the butterfly graces us
Nature at its best
Summer your sleeping is over
Come out of hiding
Give the trees their leaves back
So we can enjoy their shades
Light up the blue sky
Let the rains soak our earth
Summer your time is near
