This is me all grown up now
I've weathered through tough times
Better known as phases
But you have always been there 

To support me no matter the outcome
Whether it was good or bad

You are a fair player in this world
Neutral at all costs
You kept on loving unconditionally
You are the strongest fighter
And do it with passion
For no intentions of gaining

Although I've past the years
I've got more learning 

Than I have ever imagined
I want to take a page 

From your adventurous book
And mix it with my own tales 

From childlike to teenager
Adulthood to parenting 
The world is mine to explore
I feel loved and in control 

Of my very own destiny

So I watch the day pass by 

Taking notes along my journeys

I hope to rise to the occasion 

And be the best grandmother 

I can in the future to come
